SCOPE OF WORK
TGP’s scope of work included loading, seafreight, clearance and discharge of 57 sets of offshore wind turbine sets with a rotor diameter of around 155 m and a rated capacity of about 3 MW. Each set included towers and blades as well as the hub, nacelle and generator.
Shipments were transported from Lianyungang, Tianjin and Nanjing, China to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with the supplier responsible for delivery at origin and delivery arranged through to the final destination, including transport and handling along the full route.
The blades measured over 76 m, and as a result, required careful loading, stowage and offloading which was successfully executed by the experienced TGP team.
