Trans Global Projects successfully delivered 24 replacement wind turbine blades for a major renewable energy provider, navigating a complex route from Asia to South America and overcoming a six-month port storage delay caused by roadworks to ensure timely and safe completion.

SCOPE OF WORK
TGP delivered 9 replacement wind turbine blades, each 72.19 m long and weighing 22 tonnes, from Shanghai, China, via Paracas, Peru to the final site, and 15 additional replacement blades with the same dimensions and weight from Shanghai, China and Tuticorin, India, via San Antonio, Chile to the final site.
Due to road restrictions in Peru, the blades were stored at the port for six months until road works were completed. TGP then delivered the 72.19 m long blades to the project sites in Lima, Peru and Comunas de Las Condes, Chile — safely, on time and within budget.
