SCOPE OF WORK
TGP moved large‑diameter pipeline sections for an onshore energy project in eastern Saudi Arabia.
The work involved collecting coated steel pipes from the manufacturing and coating facility near Dammam and delivering them to a construction site in Jubail. The pipes ranged from 10” to 28” in diameter and were supplied in lengths of 12 and 24 m.
TGP organised and managed the transport operation at scale. More than 15,000 truck movements were carried out, with between 50 and 100 trucks dispatched each day. The team used a customised support frame on each trailer to secure and protect the pipes during transport.
In addition to this scope, TGP supported three further major oilfield development works in Saudi Arabia for the same EPC client.
