Coated Slurry and Water Pipeline, Australia

Trans Global Projects managed a major pipe logistics operations in Western Australia, coordinating the transport of glass fibre pipes from Port Hedland to the Boodarie project site. The scope covered the inland movement of more than 1,500 pipe bundles, representing a total volume of 241,301 cbm, supported by on-site management, decanting, load-out and staged deliveries to multiple field locations.

SCOPE OF WORK

The coated slurry and water pipeline is a 285 km pipeline made up of 26’’ outside diameter concrete weight coating (CWC) and three‑layer polyethylene coating (3LPE) pipes in 12 m and 18 m lengths.

TGP delivered this project from Mundra, India via Port Hedland, Western Australia to the job site site in Boodarie, Western Australia via 6 vessel charters and numerous trailers from port to site. ​

This project was delivered without a single pipe joint incident or damage report.
